Mainly dedicated to battery and fuel cell operated vehicles, Varistart, when associated to a DC motor, increase significantly the autonomy of the batteries, whatever the storage technology used.

When integrated on the cinematic chain, on the slower rotating shaft, Varistart reduces the starting required torque on the first revolution by any desired factor. The starting intensity is therefore reduced in the same ratio and by avoiding the amperage peaks, the battery capacity is drastically improved, especially on appliances requiring frequent stop and start operations.

Vehicles like forklifts, wheelc chairs, golf caddy cars, scooters and all small vehicles dedicated to handling or short travels as well as electric cars are now in the scope of the Varistart Development Center.

Vaistart for battery operated vehicles can support all project of energy savings while reducing the intensity required during the very first seconds of a (new) cycle, when needed to counteract inertia.

Moreover, as the maximum effort required to start a vehicle is smaller, Varistart offers the opportunity to reduce the dimension of the last components of the cinematic chain designed to whistand the starting efforts (transmission, cardan joint and others).
